  • Census Tract Boundary Version Update
    • Compared to the previous version, the new boundaries are more finely dissected—especially in areas with population growth.
    • For example, if Downtown Houston previously had 5,000 people in one tract, increased population may now require it to be split into two smaller tracts to maintain population balance.
